Lenten Study

This Lent, look at your mess through Christ’s Eye’s with this Lenten study from Bishop Tom Berlin’s book Restored. 

Sometimes our lives are in such disarray we can’t envision a way through to redemption. But when we look at the mess through the eyes of Christ, we not only find redemption, we can clearly see spiritual restoration.

Easter Flowers Sale

Every year for Easter Sunday, the chancel is decorated with Easter lilies and hydrangeas. These flowers are purchased to honor or in memory of a loved one. 

Flowers will go on sale Sunday, March 19th through Sunday March 26th.

Do you want to learn how to make the Crosses for Palm Sunday?

Your help is needed to make the Palm Crosses for Palm Sunday. Come join in the fun!

Grief Share Classes start this Monday

Grieving the loss of a loved one? Pasadena will offer a GriefShare support group for the spring of 2023. GriefShare helps with all kinds of losses – loss of a child, parent, spouse/partner, other family member or friend. The evening group will start on Monday, March 20th at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Meet in the LEC Building, Classroom 1A. There is still time to join both.

Attend weekly sessions for 13 weeks. Participants may join no matter how long ago the loss occurred. Registration required.

ESOL IS LOOKING FOR TUTORS

Tutors do not need to be trained teachers!

Free ESOL tutoring for adults to learn English takes place each Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 am (unless otherwise announced).

Church Clean Up Day

Pasadena will have a church clean-up day on Saturday, March 25th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This is a great time to join others to ‘shine up’ the church and make it a more welcoming place for all. There are many jobs, large and small. No experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome!

Easter Egg-Travaganza

Saturday, Apr. 1 | 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You are invited to hop, hop, hop on over for an Egg-Venture event on Saturday, April 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

This is a family-friendly FREE event for kids of every age that starts with a Pancake Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and continues with an egg hunt, meaningful craft, and fun-filled activities.

Palm Sunday

Join us Sunday, April 2nd for Palm Sunday. Also known as Passion Sunday. This Sunday marks the start of Holy Week as a day commemorating Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem on a donkey, the symbol of peace.

Warren Willis Summer Camp Info Session

Parents do you want your children in grades 4th to 12th to experience a high-energy, life-changing week at the Warren Willis overnight camp.

They will enjoy ziplining, archery, swimming, and more as kids jumpstart their faith while making lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

Maundy Thursday Service

April 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday Service: Join us online or in-person for a service of Communion. Jesus at the Last Supper celebrated Passover with his disciples. They broke bread together, and Jesus teaches them a new commandment—“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” – John 13:34.

Good Friday Worship Service

April 7, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. Good Friday Service: Join us online or in-person for this service of remembrance. We will remember the depth of love God has for each of us, through the suffering and death of God’s Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, on the cross as the Pastors and Sanctuary Choir guide us through a somber service.

Easter Sunday Worship

Join us this Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, as we celebrate the Resurrected Christ.

9:00 a.m. as we celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection with Contemporary worship service!

TRADITIONAL WORSHIP MUSIC MINISTRY

11:15 a.m. Sanctuary Choir Member – No audition required. Rehearsals are on Sunday Mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Hamilton Bldg., Choir Room. Sacred Arts shirts are used from May until November (given to each member at no charge) Choir robes are used from November to May (also no charge)

ESOL

Our ESOL Ministry is starting up again beginning in February! We are looking for volunteers to tutor other adults. You do not need to know another language - only English!
