If you’re passionate about positively impacting the lives of others and in the world of early childhood education, the Preschool Assistant Director role might be for you! As the Preschool Assistant Director, you will educate parents, teachers, and leaders on the value of early childhood education and make that value come to life for the children in our center. This position is designed to prepare you for additional responsibility and growth as a senior leader in our exciting long range plan for our school.

When you join our team as the Preschool Assistant Center Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist the Preschool Director in leading, teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
  • Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and community contacts
  • Serve in various administrative and teacher roles throughout the preschool
  • Vital stakeholder in the mission, vision, and ministry of the preschool and the church
  • Cultivate and strengthen the relationship between preschool and Church communities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • CDA Certified
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field – preferred
  • Florida Directors Credential with VPK endorsement – preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading and teaching in a licensed preschool setting
  • Must pass Level 2 background screening and drug screening
  • Knowledge of the VPK program and Early Learning Coalition Requirements for staff and families, and familiar with UMAP standards and accreditation process
  • Meets the state licensing requirements
  • Has knowledge of state licensing requirements for teacher credentialing
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ZOOM.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to maintain professional composure in stressful situations
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full-Time schedule that includes closing the program in the evening.
  • Attends monthly evening meeting and school-wide events.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time, indoor/outdoor
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Complete childcare training courses in CPR, First Aid, and other training requirements identified by leadership team within a specified timeframe

Bus Drivers

Looking for a substitute bus driver to work on occasions when the normal bus driver is not able to drive. This is a paid position.

Must pass a background and physical test provided by our licensing organization.

Associate Teachers One’s, Twos, and Threes

Well established Christian Preschool looking for experienced team teachers to work with lead  two’s and one’s teachers. We are also looking for afternoon floaters for all age groups. (Schedule is perfect and flexible for college students) Full time and part time positions available. Morning and afternoon schedules available. We are looking for motivated individuals that want to grow and create a classroom culture of care and respect with young children. Seeking teachers that understand the importance of early childhood experiences and treating all children and families with love and respect. Our school has a fun atmosphere with high expectations for our staff, children and families.  We have a great benefit package for full time employees that includes health insurance, vision, dental and paid time off. We also support continued education through the TEACH scholarship program and tuition reimbursement.

Pay rate is competitive and reflective off experience and educational level.

Team teacher candidates must have their  DCF 40 clock hour modules completed. CDA is desirable and will allow for more opportunities at our school.  Candidates that have an Early Childhood Degree (or in process) will get preference.

Floaters must be willing to get DCF 40 clock hours within one year of hire date.

Must possess a High School Diploma or GED

Pass a Level 2 Background Screening and drug screening
