Our mission is to help students experience the difference that living in Christ makes in their lives.
IMPACT Youth MinistriesA fun, welcoming community where students can worship, serve, and grow in faith together toward becoming deeply committed Christians. Our goal is to meet students where they are, to challenge them, and to give them a variety of opportunities so they can fully experience the difference Christ makes in their lives.
All our programs and events are purposefully designed to help us live out our mission. We use four purposes as our strategy, which are also the four boulders of Pasadena Community Church: Believe, Belong, Become, and Be the Difference. It is our hope by practicing and participating together in these purposes, that our youth will become committed and intentional about living these out and helping others to do the same.

Believe
BELIEVING begins with worship. Worshiping God not just as an outward act once a week, but with our whole lives every day. We encourage our youth to participate in Sunday morning worship in the sanctuary. We have youth group every Wednesday Night from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We also have several Sundays that the general church celebrates youth, such as Youth Sunday, Confirmation Sunday, and Graduation Sunday
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Belong
Belonging is about connection – connecting with Christ and with each other through fellowship, caring for each other, and holding one another accountable. IMPACT houses many things to build and strengthen community amongst any and every youth who comes. Again, we have youth group every Wednesday night from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We hold small groups, ZOOM meetings, summer camps, retreats, and events like Rock the Universe, Summer Splash, Trapped, Taste of Pasadena, and an annual Pumpkin Patch!

Become
Becoming is about growing and becoming more like Christ. We do this in our study of Scripture, prayer, and participating in small groups and service projects. IMPACT encourages their youth to be a part of their Wednesday nights, small groups, Sunday School, Confirmation groups, summer camp, retreats, being baptized, Student Leadership Team, and Youth Leadership team.

Be The Difference
IMPACT Youth Ministries seeks to be the difference by the way we serve our community and beyond; and by committing to the Wesleyan rules of doing no harm, doing all the good we can, and staying in love with God. To that end, we plan every year: WE Impact, Serve Day, church volunteering, mission trips, Pack-a-Snack, and Student and Youth Leadership Teams.

Meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In-Person on the 3rd floor of the Hamilton Building.
First Wednesday is Mega IMPACT (This night is a social activity and game night)
Third Wednesday “We IMPACT” (This night the youth do a service project in/for the community)
Dinner is offered from 5:30-6:00 for $3/student

Rev. Nicole LoganRev. Nicole Logan has a background in worship, music, chaplaincy, and pastoral ministries, serving in different capacities since 2010. While studying at Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, she interned and served at First UMC Winter Garden from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, she was appointed as the pastor of Montverde UMC. Upon earning her Master of Divinity from Asbury in 2020, she was appointed as the Associate Pastor of Pasadena Community Church.
Pastor Nicole supports our connect, grow, serve, and share teams, focusing on connectional ministries, adult discipleship, and missional outreach as well as worship, preaching, and teaching. She leads our mid-week chapel service on Wednesday mornings. She serves on the FL Conference Congregational Vitality team and the Gulf Central District Anti-Racism team.
Pastor Nicole is married to her best friend, Gary, who is a candidate for pastoral ministry in the Florida Conference as well as the Director of Facilities at Pasadena Community Church. They have seven children: Four girls- Jessi (married to Tim), Natalie, Megan, and Katelyn, and three boys- Ryan, Zach, and David. They also have two rescue poodles, Koda and Duffy. They love theme parks, board games, white water rafting, Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and miscellaneous other geeky things.

Rev. Corey JonesRev. Corey Jones has a background in children’s, outreach, camping, and pastoral ministries, serving in different capacities since 2000. After starting at Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando in 2009, he was appointed as the pastor of St. Mark UMC, Lakeland. Upon earning his Master of Divinity from Asbury in 2012, he was appointed to St. Luke’s UMC, Orlando. There, he served for seven years and nearly three years as the Executive Pastor.
Pastor Corey serves as the Senior Pastor of Pasadena Community Church, focusing on worship, preaching, vision, stewardship, and leadership. He also serves on various boards and committees: Bishop’s Anti-Racism Task Force, Bishop’s Committee on Episcopacy, FL Conference Beloved Community (Co-Chair), Board of Ordained Ministry, and District Committee on Ministry. Pastor Corey is currently an FL Delegate to General and Jurisdictional Conferences.
Pastor Corey is married to his best friend, Carol, middle-school math and AVID teacher. They have two sons, Gavin Michael, and Isiah Jackson. The four of them love swimming, watching sports and movies, going to the beach, and dancing in the kitchen.
