United Methodist Women

PASADENA UNITED METHODIST WOMEN is part of the largest faith-based women’s organization of 800,000 members that has been around for 150 years!   We have been in mission here since 1925, the founding year of Pasadena Community Church!

Our Purpose

All women are invited to join us in fulfilling our Purpose. We meet monthly on the first Tuesday, usually in the morning, with occasional events!

Our Vision

Turning faith, hope and love into action on behalf of women, children and youth around the world.

How can you become a member?

YOU ARE INVITED to come as a guest and then possibly leave as a member!  Church membership does not automatically make you a member, nor is it required!  We would LOVE TO WELCOME YOU at our next meeting!

  • What?   Unit Meetings are held on the first Tuesday monthly
  • When?   at 10:30 am
  • Where?  Life Enrichment Center Rooms 3ABC
  • Catered Lunch at noon by advance reservation. Call church office 381-2499

Our Projects

The ladies of the UMW are very busy doing God’s work. Here are some of the projects they work on throughout the year:

> United Methodist Women’s Thrift Mall (Wed. and Sat. 9:00 – 1:00)
We started our one room Thrift Store in 1987 and it has grown to a 3 room Thrift Mall! Profits go half to the church budget and the other half to UMW’s operating budget and to mission projects especially for women, children and youth:  6 within our church; a dozen in our community; and 8 others in the US and worldwide!
