Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry are prayed over and compiled into a list that is available at our Wednesday Morning Chapel Service which is held each week from 8:00 to 8:30 in Goodwin Chapel. Our Prayer Warriors who are not able to attend the Wednesday service receive the list via e-mail or postal service and pray, along with the others, all week for our church and for the people whose prayer concerns were turned in.
We invite you to join us and/or to submit your prayer requests:
- drop a prayer request card into the offering plate Sunday mornings
- drop a prayer request card by the church office
- submit a prayer request online
Please protect your privacy and that of others. Share only information you and/or they are comfortable with others knowing. Remember, God knows all the details surrounding your request.
If you need to report a church member or attendee who is in the hospital or needs a visit please call the church office in addition to putting in a prayer request: 381-2499.
Pasadena Community Church is lucky to have two members, Virginia Spencer and Anne McDaniel who serve as our “parish nurses.” These two highly experienced and BayCare Health Systems, St. Anthony Hospital certified R.N.s offer free blood pressure screenings at 2:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. The Parish Nurses will also be happy to talk with you about medications and other health-related issues that you or loved ones face.
Our parish nurses also will present occasional workshops on everything from preventive care to nutrition.
Feel free to call Virginia 727.397.5879.
Tuesdays @ 5:30 p.m. (LEC Conference Room C)
Wednesdays @ 9:30 a.m. (LEC Conference Room C)
Our focus is primarily directed toward those caring for a parent, spouse, or loved one as they show signs of needing more “care” due to dementia-related diseases. However, if you are caring for an adult with a non-dementia illness you may also find benefit in attending one of our support groups.
Both groups are open to the public and provide a confidential setting for those attending to share their experiences, joys, and concerns of “caregiving” with others in like situations.
Pasadena Community Church is a big congregation but when it comes to caring for our members and friends who are sick, hospitalized or need a face-to-face visit from a friendly face, we are there to help.
If you or someone you know would like a visit, please communicate that to us.

Important! Call us. Because of HIPAA laws, hospitals and medical facilities no longer contact churches or allow visiting clergy or church visitors to access patient lists even though they may ask the patient for that information. Your call may be our only way of knowing about the situation. Don’t assume that we know that you or a loved one is hospitalized. Contact us right away.
Our Visitation Team consists of the following:
- Pastor Nicole Logan
- Director of Congregational Care: Barbara Posey

The above visitors have had special training and have been screened. Upon request, any of them are willing to serve Holy Communion but we will need to know ahead of time in order to bring the elements.
Obviously schedules vary so visits are coordinated by our Director of Congregational Care based on who is available at the time.
Visits are made to the area:
- Nursing Homes
- Assisted Living Facilities
or to individuals on their own:
