United Methodist Women

The UMW Purpose

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Our Vision

Turning faith, hope and love into action on behalf of women, children and youth around the world.

How can you become a member?

Come and enjoy interesting, inspirational programs, fellowship, lunch and music. Joining the church does not automatically make you a member of United Methodist Women. Anyone may join through participation in Unit meetings, Circles, study, giving, praying, action or serviceYou are invited to visit and join.

The Unit meets monthly for fellowship, a program, and to conduct business. A local group is called a “Unit” because the United Methodist Church is a connectional church.  Each group is connected to the whole, which includes, district, conference, jurisdiction and national organizations.

Circles are small, intimate groups that meet monthly for fellowship and study. Every member of a Circle is also a member of the Unit.

  • What?   Unit Meetings are held on the first Tuesday monthly
  • When?   at 10:30 am

  • Catered Lunch at noon by advance reservation. Call church office 381-2499
